A bit about yourself: I have been married to David for 37yrs we have 3 grown up children. I have a dog, lurcher cross, Sam, he's a rescue dog he has been with us for 8yrs. I try and walk Sam in the New Forest every day,I love to see the deer, birds of prey and of course the ponies. I do try and take my camera with me whenever I go out but as always you see the best subject when you leave the camera at home.

keep at macro,I shot in raw, full manual ,best sit down and let the bugs come to you ,keep the sun off to one side so the bugs dont see your shadow on them and run ,the 105vr is a good lens, but the same money you can have the sigma 150 that I use ,that keep you away from the bugs abit so they dont run to much

Hi Kay,

The flower in the shot is a silver princess, a type of Eucaluptus native to Australia.

Thanks for commenting on my picture.
